Who we are
JobPilot is operated by the JobPilot team. You can reach us at support@jobpilot.app.
What we provide
JobPilot is a job-search and application-management tool. We help you find jobs across multiple sources, tailor resumes and cover letters using AI, fill in application forms, and track your application status.
We do not guarantee that any application we help you submit will be reviewed, responded to, or result in an offer. We are not your employer, your recruiter, your career coach, or your lawyer.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use JobPilot.
- One human, one account. Don’t share login credentials.
- You’re responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You’re responsible for the accuracy of the resume content and personal details you give us. We don’t fact-check.
AI-generated content
When you ask us to tailor a resume, write a cover letter, or auto-fill an application, an AI (currently Anthropic’s Claude) generates text based on your resume and the job description. You should:
- Review every AI-generated output before submitting it to an employer. AI can hallucinate skills, dates, or facts. We highlight transparency on every generation (which keywords matched, what was changed), but the final responsibility is yours.
- Don’t submit AI-generated content you know to be false or misleading.
- We retain ownership of the platform; you own the content you give us and any output you decide to use.
Acceptable use
Don’t use JobPilot to:
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or republish data from job boards via JobPilot’s interface.
- Spam employers with low-quality applications — we’ll cancel accounts that do.
- Impersonate other people or fabricate qualifications.
- Submit applications on someone else’s behalf without their explicit consent.
- Attempt to circumvent our rate limits, security headers, or AI quota.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Billing
When paid plans launch:
- Plans renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime via Stripe Customer Portal (
/profile→ Plan & billing). - Refunds: within 7 days of a charge, no questions asked. After 7 days, case-by-case for unused time.
- Failed payments: we’ll pause access until billing is resolved.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but don’t promise 100% uptime. Maintenance happens occasionally. AI features depend on Anthropic’s API; outages there mean tailoring and autofill won’t work for the duration.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- We provide the service “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of JobPilot — including missed job opportunities, rejected applications, or career outcomes.
- Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $0 if you’ve never paid us).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of California, USA. Disputes go to arbitration in San Francisco County, except where local consumer law overrides this.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to active users. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
Termination
You can delete your account anytime from /profile→ Advanced → Your data → “Delete account”. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when feasible.
